Fowler Electorate School Public Speaking Competition
Emelia Small (Yr 9) and Natalie Herranz (Yr 11) competed in the Fowler Electorate School Public Speaking Competition. Judged by Toastmaster, Emelia competed in the Junior Secondary division with a 3 minute speech while Natalie competed in the Senior Secondary division with a 5 minute speech. Both girls had discuss 'Australian experiences during WW1 both abroad and on the home front.' While Emelia didn't place, Natalie won and received over $1000 worth of gift cards. Both students represented Bossley extremely well and we are so proud of them. Thank you to Ms Azzam giving them this opportunity.
Relay for Life 2017
Over 30 students and staff participated in the 24 hour Relay for Life event held at Prairiewood High School. As a school community, we raised over $2000 for the NSW Cancer Council. Thanks to Ms Manley and Ms Simic for organising and coordinating this event.
Bush Tucker Garden opening
Year 7 Camp 2017
Thanks to the Year 7 Advisers, Ms Melville and Mr Zantiras, for organising a three day camp for Year 7. Students attended The Outdoor Adventure Company and participating in canoeing, hiking, ziplining and Mud Run.

2017 Refugee Expo
Thank you to the Learning Support faculty and other assisting teachers for organising an excellent Refugee expo for our refugee parents and students. A variety of services were present on the day to provide information to all involved.
