Faculty Aims:

Industrial Arts is a blending of many diverse areas. As teachers of Industrial Arts, we develop in students, knowledge and understanding of materials and processes. Skills and related knowledge are developed through a specialised approach to the tools, materials and techniques employed in the planning, development, construction and evaluation of quality practical projects and processes. Critical thinking skills are developed through engagement with creative practical problem-solving activities.in

Faculty Extra Curricula / Extension:

On Wednesday afternoons, our GAT students participate in our Robotics, Electronics and Programming club conducted by Mr El Miski. Students who attend, have an opportunity to become involved in extension work which challenges students in design, problem solving and solution implementation through programming and electronics.

Significant Successes in 2014-15:

Our Technology GAT students get involved with programing.

Intel Education Australia supported an Australia wide pilot program partnering with
over 30 schools across Australia to see what schools and students could do with the
Intel Galileo Development Board.
